As outlined by Public Health and the Province of Ontario, as of September 22nd, we have been mandated to provide a vaccine passport and photo identification when dining indoors with us or when attending a wedding or event.

**please note – Until September 22nd, you will be able to provide your second vaccine certificate. As outlined by Public Health, after your 2nd vaccine, you will need to wait 14 days to be able to be considered safe for entry to an event or restaurant dining.
You will be required to show your proof of vaccine, or proof of exemption and photo ID from September 22nd. Please be sure to have these documents prepared upon arrival.
Outdoor dining is weather dependent. Outdoor dining does not require a vaccine passport.
Weddings & Events
We are able to host weddings and events at a 50% capacity. All of our dining tables will be 2m apart. All guests are required to wear masks at all times when moving though the function area including all mingling and dancing. Masks are to be kept on during wedding ceremonies and please keep a safe distance from others. Additional seating will be provided.
From September 22nd, vaccine passports or proof of exemption and photo identification is required for all guests attending receptions. Please be sure to have these items prepared as you are entering the building so that we can welcome you efficiently.
Guests who are only attending ceremonies are not required to provide proof of vaccination or exemption.
From September 22nd through October 12th inclusive – the government has provided additional time to allow you to get your vaccination and wait the 14 days afterward. For this reason, during this time, if you are unable to provide a vaccine passport. You will be able to enter with proof of a negative covid test.

We have significantly increased our disinfection practices in all areas of Ancaster Mill including staff areas and all shared public spaces. We have removed items that are unable to be sanitized and are providing single-use options. Additional employees are scheduled and trained to focus on enhanced cleaning, using certified disinfectants, and to monitor social distancing standards.
Heightened Guest Safety and Comfort
We will operate at a reduced capacity to ensure adequate time for sanitization protocols and to provide additional personal space for all of our guests. Hand sanitizer is easily accessible and we have reduced points of contact and minimized use of shared spaces.
Empowered and Educated Employees
We have trained employees on enhanced health & safety measures, correct procedures for wearing PPE, social distancing awareness, and increased cleaning protocols. All employees self-screen and monitor temperature upon arrival to work and are well informed on case notification protocols.
For the safety of our staff and other guests, we ask that all guests go through a self-assessment before entering the property.
