Fall Frolic 2019

The day's festivities will kick off at 12pm where you can enjoy a selection of local wines and beers - all inclusive. This year's event will also see the return of the Best of the Best competition where our Chefs from all the Pearle Hospitality restaurants will prepare harvest inspired tasting dishes for you to try throughout the event- and then we'll ask you to vote on your favourite!

The day also includes three interactive masterclasses, starting from 1pm with Mastering the Oyster hosted by hosted by the Oyster Shucking Champion of Ontario, David Burns, from Maisy's Pearl Oyster Purveyors. Burns will be speaking about how to identify and consume great quality oysters, the health benefits they provide, as well as how to choose the most sustainable options.

Then at 2pm, experience our Butchery Masterclass hosted by Jeff Crump, Chef and Owner of Bread Bar. You'll learn about the different cuts of meat and what type to choose depending on your meal. Jeff will then show you how to cut and prepare the meat or what to look for when headed to the butchers.

Finally at 3pm, stay for the Perfect Pies Masterclass hosted by Mary Lou Ciancone, where she shares her secrets of this Pearle Hospitality specialty that has been in the family for generations. Join Mary Lou as she battles it out with members of the Ciancone family on how to make the perfect pie crust and tips for preparing seasonal filling ingredients.

Don't forget to enjoy live music, dancing, a camp fire and a final elimination challenge from Best of the Best which will round out what is sure to be your most memorable autumn afternoon!
